The cocktail party is the height of sophistication: think the seamless perfection of Martha Stewart meets the over-the-top extravagance of the Great Gatsby. They're our spirit guides in the art of entertaining, and we're going to channel them to help you throw a killer cocktail party (mansion in Long Island not included.)

Join entertainers and professional party people Allison Hamlin and April Wachtel to learn how to make the party happen. Learn tips and tricks for creating simple menus, pre-party prepping, and batching cocktails, so you aren’t stuck slaving over the bar, or worse, running to the store for emergency back-up supplies. Allison and April will demo how to make a sample menu of food and cocktails, and students will snack, sip, and leave with easy-to-use menus to make your next party an affair to remember, rather than a night to forget.
